-=> Quoting Terry May to George Harper <=-
TM> On 14 Jun 97, George Harper was hit by a Mark Wohlers fastball, and

GH> The bottom line is - as you say - the money that increased attendnce
GH> generates and that increased attendance will stay as long as the quality

GH> Denver's Coors Field when Ken Griffey Jr anmd Randy Johnson come to
own,

TM> Of course, Coors Field sells out every game, anyway.
very true...but he seats aren't totally filled...the average actual
gate count is probably 2 to 5 thousand less than ticket sales. But
what I was getting at is the probability that we will have SRO attendance
at the games if Randy Johnson is scheduled to pitch...(I've heard rumors
that he won't...can't handle having to bat and run the bases...
TM> ... Atlanta Braves - Five straight division titles!
Thanks to the highest payroll in baseball...apparently Ted Turner heard that
the mid-century Yankees were accused of buying the pennants, and thought it
sounded like a good idea.
