Greetings, All!
This story is supposed to be based on fact. It was third hand, when I got,
but
is sounds like it could have happened.
Seems a Federal Gov't jet from Ottawa made a trip to Regina. After dropping
of some important?? people at the terminal, the pilot taxied to the parking
area and shut down. After straighting up the cabin (that is the pilot's job,
isn't it?) and putting away manuals, he became a bit concerned about his
safety when it was time to leave the aircraft. He fired up the radio and
called the tower.
Pilot: "The aircraft is surrounded by wild dogs."
Tower: "Do they have short tails?"
Pilot: "Yes".
Tower: "Do they have long ears?"
Pilot: "Yes"
Tower: "Around here, we call those rabbits."
