That depends mostly on who repairs it.  If you take it to a Ham who
has a well-equipped shack and is good at that kind of thing, (and has
lots of free time),  it might cost you only a few $$.  OTOH if you
take it to a commercial communications radio shop, it would probably
cost you less to get another good used radio.

It sounds like a broken spring in the TR switch, (probably a
microswitch), or a mechanical problem conected with the PTT.  In all
probability the switch itself needs replacement.
