That's a good basis... although, I know lots of people who think that...
and (no offence) I wouldn't get in the same car with them... cycling tends
to be self- correcting most times...

VF> Such as?
You had to ask didn't you... mostly I found that I was doing things
easonably
well... Let's see... Small details I had escaped... about law, new
technology, technique, etc.
This was CanBike II, the urban commuter/survival course...
I first found out about Camelbacks there, a godsend idea...
Did you know WHY the vehicle on the right has 'right-of-way' at an
ncontrolle
intersection? Did you know WHY it is bad form to pull over and wait for
traffic lights by pole leaning, or even to put your right foot up on the
urb.
instead of waiting in the line? Do you ever pull over to the left side of
he
lane when waiting for lights, so the cars can make right turns (where legal)
and not get overly frustrated by cyclists? Did you ever learn the correct
way to make a max stop... I knew the theory, but never dreamed just how fast
you can make a bike stop short of hitting something fixed... and so on and so
on...
NOT everyone needs CanBike II of course... but the idea is to find someone
who truly knows how...
Did you know that you can get PAID to teach cycling courses? That was an
eye opener?
Doug now in Vernon BC not Toronto.
