Right, but there's no =statute= on the books stating that to do so is in and
of itself a prosecutable offense. Trespass and DOC are about the only things
that they can nail you on.

I keep wondering what's going to happen when the mall guards toss the wrong
guy who then takes the mall to court for not allowing him access to the
stores =inside= the mall when the anchors don't seem to mind whether people
carry or not. IMHO, the mall owners need to either take down the signs (the
preferred solution) or make the anchors put =up= signs.
Another thing I keep wondering about is all these supposedly well-trained
"guards" and cops who can't recognize my Galco fanny pack for what it is. I
compare them to perfect strangers who come up to me and ask me how I like my
fanny pack holster and whether they should get one for themselves. :-) The
only time I've had a cop who didn't know me ask about my pack was at Wally
World when I stopped in at about 6:30 AM on my way to work for some allergy
drugs. Was an off-duty female deputy, who simply asked me if I was wearing a
"fanny pack". Well, I was, duh!, but knew damn well what she was talking
about so whipped out my permit and flashed it at her. She gave me a sort of
dirty look when I did, though; must've been hoping for some "action" to break
up the boredom. This particular Wal-Mart, though can't seem to make up its
mind about whether to post or not to post as the signs go up then come down,
go up then come down again. Right now, it's posted...on one door, which I
never seem to use. };-)
