PC> Binkley v2.50 ported to OS/2. The main feature of this version is that
PC> the source code is available and will compile under OS/2.

JP> I thought that this had been possible since v2.30...

PC> Perhaps, I just started using Bink about 6 months ago, when I installed
PC> OS/2.

I didn't see the original message, but the change is that it
compiles with the 32-bit OS/2 compilers. So this is the first
32-bit mailer that has source code available.

JP> What compilers can it be used with?

PC> All the major commercial compilers and Emx/Gcc.

Not quite all. Watcom, CSET, Borland and EMX.

JP> I assume it comes with a makefile... Guess it could be worth trying to
JP> build it myself. Somehow every (non-trivial) makefile I run stops with
JP> unexpected results.

Yeah, it's amazing isn't it? I don't know what environments
these people run under. Anyway, each of the makefiles was
tested with the make program that came with the compiler.
E.g. CSET was made use nmake, Borland with "make", Watcom
with wmake, and EMX with DMAKE (as per EMX recommendation).

BFN. Paul.
