Hi Dewey...
Well I think I actually meant to address that to the other chap... but
it's ok... I'm not actually sure, since I seem to have lost the archive...
Anyhow... I went around Dallas one July day in an airconditioned vehicle and
that was bad enough. You should try Toronto when the temp is in the High 30's
and the humidity is 100 percent... (that's Centigrade btw)...
I finally escaped to dryer, but hillier country... TG.
As for the business suit... those are very impractical, and I'd never
onsider
wearing one EVER, let alone on a bike... One of that group of messages said
I believe in using APPROPRIATE means of transportation... I'm not against
motorvehicle use on a reasonable basis... like cruisin the strip... er....ah!
DT> Besides, how will I keep the caviar and champagne cool?
Desert Cooler... use a cotton bag on the bars/front carrier... simply moisten
it once in a while... evaporation does the rest while you ride...
PS it works on the conventional water bottle / clip too... just use a
sock (cotton tube) and elastic band (or sew it up), spit out a bit to keep it
damp... don't cover the cap of course... and keep it clean... NEVER use
last weeks GYM castoffs or you risk crashing... phewwww!
Of course a small CO2 extinguisher works wonders on aluminum cans in an
insulated bag... but don't get carried away... don't use on champagne...
Doug
