Have you received a catalogue yet? Mine arrived yesterday, and some of
their stuff is incredibly cheap, such as Encarta '95 for $89 or so, and MS
Office for ~$249. I wouldn't buy either of them myself, but they're much
cheaper than I've seen anywhere else.

BG> I've had 3 Hobbes so far, and Emacs was on every one of them.

JG> Good.

A matter of opinion, I guess. |-)

BG> Never unpacked it though, so I've no idea what it is or does.

JG> It's an editor with many bells & whistles.

Oh shit, not _another_ bloody editor!

JG> It's free and the more that I use it the more I like it. Chews up a

Dunno what sort of editor you like, but have you had a good look at OS/2's
supplied EPM editor yet? Not only is it perfect for text editing, but it
can double as a mini word processor at a pinch. I had to use it for the
first time the other day, and I was quite impressed.

Regards, Bill
