Hi Edwin, EG> if a user drags a window/dialogbox to a certain location on the desktop, EG> I want it to reappear it there the next time. I'm quite sure it's EG> possible, but how? Does anybody have examples for me? Use WinStoreWindowPos and WinRestoreWindowPos for this: OS/2 will store the info in the OS2.INI. Both have resp. the applicationname, a keyname and the windowhandle as parameter. They will return a boolean indicating if the operation was a success. The applicationname and the keyname can be chosen by the programmer: it may be any string. Does anyone know a function to remove an entry made by WinStoreWindowPos from OS2.INI ?
