Y'know, my dove "Kookyroos" but I don't think I've heard him laugh!  The
last one I had laughed all the time.  Do you suppose that might be
significant? As to sex or something?  I AM considering getting this one
a companion, but I'd like some idea as to which is what!

I know whatch mean.  My daddy was a carpenter so we had lots of
nail-kegs.  Suited the doves to death.  They especially liked to fix it
so the eggs rolled out!

My book says the Tres Marias ARE a separate species.  Certainly not the
same as the Yellow Naped.  We have lots of parrots pass through here
that are CALLED DYHA but they aren't really.  I think they're what you
call a Yellow Fronted....
I never could afford one though.  Almost bought a pair of nestlings once
but a dealer wanted them DAMN BAD!  When I saw he was determined to buy
them I made him pay plenty for them!
