  It must be different in your country.  In Australia there is no such
difference (or if there is IBM haven't told me).  There are 3 levels of
membership which cost different amounts and provide different levels of
service.

   It was implied in the material that IBM sent me that DAP membership was
required.  But for $35 I get enough material to make it worth the money
anyway...  Also I get slightly better support when I call IBM.
