GD> Does anyone have a solution or suggestions regarding this
oblem

Perhaps I wasn't clear. The algae is microscopic in nature. Instead
f
creating clumps or strings when the algae grows, the bond between the cells
breaks shortly after mitosis, creating new free floating cells. I do have
three algae eaters, two black moors (wife's fish), and two upside down
catfish in the tank. None of these fish are over two inches in length.
... "Double tap" has nothing to do with draft beer or dancing.
