EM> The source turned out to be unterminiated stub and a neighbor was

The cable company was undoubtably only too glad to hear about and correct
that problem!
EM> Now to another problem that rose up!
EM> Scaner causing interferencr on two meters!
EM> When a scanner is programed to 155.925 - 156.00 mcs. it would put

EM> The owner refuses to do any thing about it, ie filters, coax length

EM> Any suggestions? Have yet to hear from either FCC or ARRL!
What does the scanner user use for an antenna? The whip on the scanner,
or a rooftop antenna?
Depending on what he listens to, he might do fine on the whip alone and
telescoped closed.
