JS> Holy Shweid! That's got to be one huge revolver.
It weighs a bit, but its comfortable in the Bianchi bandoleer style holster
I hunt with. Yes it is a two handed grip gun .
JS> Woof. That could put just about anything on the dinner table. 300gr
JS> Hornady, XTPs I take it? I am very very impressed with their performance
JS> in 10mm size, I fired them at various velocities into a water medium, and
JS> got excellent and consistant expansion at anywhere from 970 fps in 200gr
JS> to 1300+fps in 155gr. I ordered some 110gr and 158gr XTPs for the .357.
JS> Also a roll crimp die, I hear a heavy roll crimp is necessary with large
JS> amounts of a slower powder.
JS> Question: When should I start using magnum primers as opposed to
JS> standard?
I have always used magnum primers with the .44. Thats what the cook book
says so I stay with it. Since the publishers don't care to be sued for
suggesting a bomb, they tend to be pretty conservative on their load
recommendations.
JS> Or kitchen. :-)
Yeah, but what are you doing with a .44 in the kitchen ?
JS> GS>I was really sorry to hear of the demise of the company. Maybe someon
JS> GS>will buy it up and remanufacture.
JS> I'd be willing to invest in some equipment to make replacement barrels
JS> and such if I had the room.
And if I had a brain I'd be rich..
