umm... no... the only byproduct of fusion is helium... it *does* produce
radioactivity, but it does not produce radioactive material...

good estimate... given the current state of the technology, this is

actually, better rechargeable batteries are being developed all the
time... to say never is certainly not to be looking at the research...
all that is needed is to find a better mix of materials to "store"
electrical power... look at lithium batteries, for instance... *much*
better than lead-acid batteries...
