ELJ> I thought they were Fire Dome or somthing like that, and the 413
 ELJ> was the Red Ram.
Chrysler or Desoto called their hemi the Firedome...413 was a wedge motor,
predecessor to the 426 wedge of 63 which was called the Cross Ram Wedge, if I
remember right. It had two 4bbls, each one sat over the fender
wells...damedest thing to tune...
My high school buddy traded his 55 Chevy in on one... He was previously
injured in a motorcycle accident and was a paraplegic. He opted for the
push-button TorqueFlyte transmission.. He raced it at the Byron dragstrip in
63 & 64... Turned mid 11's...the car was named RamBunctious.. I was his pit
crew, since he couldn't do a fast enough job of swapping tires, etc..
Ya know, that sucker never let me ride in it...
ELJ> Fine, you like GM, so do I, they look cool in my rear view :>
ELJ> (sorry) I just like my Comaro eaten Stang :)
My old (1970) Formula Firebird eats those Stangs for breakfast...
 ELJ> (I'm a baaad boy)
Not baaad enough...
