Since I first posted this I found a fix.  An edit of compress.cfg of the
"Phil Katz's PKZip" portion as follows fixed it perfectly:

UNIX    Add             /usr/bin/zip -9 -j -q %a %f

I posted that in this and other echoes as well as netmailed Bo.

It needs work,
