Hi,

I don't want to open the pc to count exactly how many strands the wire
is but it is neither 50 nor 40, it is probably around 20 and is a 
light blue cable with an unusual plug at the drive end that is gripped
by hooking arms as the plug is inserted.

All I know is that it works :)
