I just got off the phone with ZyXEL and here's the scoop.  ZyXEL's new LED 
and Rack modems will support the 33.6 speed.  The current versions of the 
elite cannont support said speed.
The 56K X2 technology will be supported...with flash upgrades sometime in the 
fist/second quarter of next year.
