 BW> Well, someone here's had a Courier-labeled PCMCIA which he's said 
 BW> he's been told cannot be upgraded. 
       That  is quite possible and needs a qualification. If it is too 
old and does not have a flashable ROM, this fellow is out of luck. One 
had to understand that old modems are not upgradeable and not blame USR 
or any other for this drawback. 
       Let us be fair.
