Yep i'm one of the sysops ;) My BBS isn't very old.. that might be
suprising somebody, but here's my story.
In 96 or something my father bought a modem, for our computer.. I thought
what are we going to use that thing for.. but we connected to a BBS for the
first time, it was a big experience, Computerland BBS was the name. I got
very fashinated about the BBS'es, i made my own, but it was a private
system, because i couldn't afford a phoneline more, so it was only used
then my friends, should download files from me.
Then the internet came, i "forgot" all about the bbs'es.. but
this summer i talk to RC Denmark, in fidonet, and he told me about fidonet
thru the internet, and i came back, and soon i started my BBS agian (just
on some different software).

I droped usenet, most of the people are unseriusly.. And i like fidonet
better, because there are a spirit, "it's my system, i'm a part of
this system".

The nodelists, bbs lists, etc is still distributed by fileechos.

Bo
