My son and best friend went to a Summer Slam in Cleveland. It was the year
or year after The Cleveland Browns left for Baltimore. Jerry Lawler came out
with is crown and Jacket on. He starts telling everyone how warm it is and
takes off jacket only to have on a Baltimore Ravens Vinnie Testerverde
jersey on. I never heard booing that loud before and the amount of paper
cups flying in the ring. He then berated all us Hillbillies and how Art
Modell called him to say he took Jerry's advice and went to greener
pastures. Later while in restroom people were calling Lawler everything
imaginable. He pissed em off good and I was loving it!.
