JANE KELLEY was thinking about ::Sighs:: and keyed into cyberspace:
JK>VF> K> I *wish* you boys wouldn't throw out a theory just because
JK>VF> K> it's not supported by a MD or psychiatrist.
JK>VF>While I acknowledge your sentiment, there are sometimes very good
JK>VF>reasons wh a certain quack remedy isn't supported by medical
JK>VF>professionals: because cas studies prove it doesn't do what's
JK>VF>claimed.
JK>They said this about laterile at one time also. I knew a man in
JK>White Center (part of Seattle) who had cancer and was keeping himself
JK>alive (so folks who knew him claimed) with some concoction he made
JK>from peach pits.
Laetrile, or as it is known now, Vitamin B-17, killed many people,
either by convincing them to stop chemotherapy or as a direct result of
the poor preparation methodology whereby a significant amount of KCN was
left behind.
My aunt was murdered by one of those jerks who advocated its use.
JK>One never does know until one tries some of those home remedies.
JK>Even the placebo effect would be welcome at times.
Yep. Thinking you are getting better while you are dying. Great idea,
Jane.
I see you did not get an error correcting modem.
