What's New in WiNRADiO version 2.10
-----------------------------------
Version 2.10 contains a full implementation of VisiTune, our new
method of graphic tuning, part of the Spectrum Scope facility.
You already know that if you drag your mouse across a scanned spectrum,
you can click anywhere within the spectrum and you will be tuned
instantly.
This feature has now been extended substantially. This new functionality
(which one of our beta testers called "the ultimate scanning sensation"),
is called VisiTune. We liked it so much that we patented it.
With VisiTune, you can do the following (assuming you are using the
Spectrum Scope):
* Hold the left mouse button down and keep dragging the frequency cursor.
The receiver will tune continuously, following your hand movements.
Hear the stations change as you move the mouse between the peaks on the
spectrum sweep!
* Manually sweep the spectrum display behind your cursor, if you enable
the Manual Refresh option in Options menu. (Use RBW=17kHz for FM-N or
RWB=6kHz for AM, if you wish to take advantage of this feature. Not
recommended for FM-W.) Also note that for very fast hand movements over
a large frequency range, the receiver's settling time might not allow
accurate updating of the displayed spectrum.
* The true potential of VisiTune is unleashed if you have two WiNRADiO
cards installed: You can have one card continuously updating
the displayed spectrum in real time while you are tuning around and
listening with the other card. You can decide which card to use for
listening and which for continuous sweeping.
Other new features in version 2.10:
1. You can now pause and resume a spectrum sweep.
2. It is now possible to override default time zone setting of Windows 95 and
NT.
3. A new installer places WiNRADiO files into Program Files rather than
the root directory, and uninstallation is now supported.
If you still have old WiNRADiO software installed (version numbers 1.xx),
now it is time to upgrade!
This is what has been introduced in version 2.xx:
1.  Spectrum Scope facility
2.  Stepping size resolution is now 100 Hz and the step size is now
    adjustable in a range of 100 Hz to 10 MHz
3.  An extra scanning Pause mode in Scanner Setup
4.  Enhanced range scanning (stored variables now include mode and squelch
    settings)
5.  Memory group numbers are now shown in Memory viewer
6.  Squelch is now joined with scanning sensitivity (but can be separated
    in General Options)
7.  Signal Strength value is now shown within the Signal Strength display
8.  Long file names are now supported for Windows 95 and NT
9.  "Always On Top" feature
10. "Hide Title Bar" feature
11. Drivers for Windows NT 3.50 and above are now supplied as part of the
    installation program
