How does Christianity reject "the religion of Jesus"?

I take it from this that you do acknowledge Jesus as being the 
Son of God? Do you acknowledge that Jesus died for your sins, 
in accordance with his Father's will?

Where did God say that?

If they were not too difficult to keep in their entirety, why did 
God institute a Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) for the very purpose 
of making atonement for sins which [Jews] committed against God?

That would be fine, for those who keep them. I only know of One who
kept the Law. All the rest of us have fallen short.
