    It is the EMACS editor!


I enjoy a properly installed Emacs, which allows me ...

  ... to have the proper indentation for C, C++ and F77
  ... to start compilation out of Emacs
  ... to inspect all errornous positions in the sources easily
  ... to use the GNU debugger nicely
  ... to use the info hypertext help
