Hi, Bob! Recently you wrote in a message to Ardith Hinton:

Oops... [wry grin].
Yes, Dallas & I have experienced some problems with Google
maps too. We checked the information Google has to offer about a campground
we've visited on numerous occasions, for example, and found that none of
the roads are marked except for the paved road leading to the registration
booth. We can tell where the others are because we've also seen the
official campground map... but if we hadn't actually been there we'd be
none the wiser. A few gaps in the trees may not be very informative if
that's about all a person has to go on.
The campground is located within a provincial park where many of
the roads are accessible to the general public... not just to registered
campers... but Google doesn't always map gravel roads in BC. OTOH I've
noticed dirt roads elsewhere marked on a Google map... i.e. they were still
dirt roads as of a few years ago. Unless things have changed a lot, they
aren't well maintained.
Some places like this may also be beyond cell phone range, BTW. :-)
