Spycams will really weird them out! Some places, malls especially, have a
real thing about people taking pictures inside without permission. Because
they are on private property, the usual (USA) rules of being able to shoot
in a public place, or what you can see from a public place, do not apply.
Saw Larry's message about the casinos welcoming picture takers. Yes
indeedie! Make sure you get shots of people in town only for their church
convention, or Uncle Pete walking through with his ...sister? Must be a
family reunion in one of the banquet rooms.
Quality will suffer with one of the cameras you mentioned, but as an
artist, you can make it work for you. No problem.

Now and then, the subject of "Where is it OK to Shoot"
comes up. Here is a newly published brief by a lawyer on this subject .
The author also wrote the book, Legal Handbook for Photographers.
Applies to USA only.
I would love to see a discussion on how other countries deal with
these issues, especially European countries.
