Probably $5 of that is for the media, last time I looked it seemed to be
about the going rate for CDs wuith "free" content,  still 8 bucks
for P&H seems a bit steep.

also CD's cost more to post as they don't fit in a letter envelope. 
someone mailed me a couple of EDO memory sticks a while back. IIRC they
were wrapped
in light card and enclosed in a letter envelope IIRC the postage was
US$1.75 (as it was a little overweight)
