Did you notice that the crime rate went down just after President
Clinton freed up money to invest in the highway infrastructure?
You'll see it plowed back in to the economy. People are paid,
they go home to build families, communities -- they feel good.
They spend their money and the cycle continues. Taxes are
generated from people making money and the system *WORKS*.

How come Republicans are always looking for a way to "cut a fat
hog" and destroy the system instead of making it work?

I just tapped out a note to CheckFree Corp. after receiving
their introductory packet for review. ...looks like they
don't like to use a union printer (no union labels in evidence),
and you may know far better than I but it looks like they
troubled the janitorial staff to do the legal composition too.
Hell, why pay an attorney, right? ...national corporation?

Re: Your TERMS AND CONDITIONS document

Section: NO WAIVER

Text: CheckFree shall be deemed to have waived any
of it's rights or remedies hereunder unless
such waiver is in writing and signed by CheckFree.
          ...

Are you absolutely sure this is the way you wanted that to
read? ...it's none of my business but it looks like either
your typesetter (non union?) or your legal staff hasn't got
your best interests at heart.

Try reading it again after inserting _NOT_ after the text
"CheckFree shall". It seems like that was more your intent.

  =====

California is suffering from a governor with a non-invest
mentality. It just doesn't pay. Sure, I'd *love* to see
the education system benefit from all kinds of windfalls
but the whole economy works better if they are *paid* for.

The nation has clearly been shown that "trickle down"
just doesn't work. If the rich were wise enough to
understand that "trickle up" *does* work maybe we'd get
somewhere. ...getting them to understand that the fast
buck Wall Street types have steered them away from simple
but proven and concrete concepts like nurturing their markets
is needed. ...maybe if they were convinced that a healthier
lower class means more fruitful ground to filtch it would wake 'em up???

...really, Matt. Who's to blame for the ommission in the
CheckFree contractural document? The education system?
I doubt it *very* seriously.

If they had *paid* someone what it was worth to get a
quality document -- someone competent -- they would have
had a quality return on their investment.

If they were an airliner would they try to "cut a fat hog"
by improperly shipping their own hazardous materials???
...oxygen canisters ring a bell?

What other corners might they be cutting that might reflect
negatively on the way I conduct financial transactions???

I think a national "Character Counts" emphasis througout
the education process is desperately needed.

...whatcha think?
