Actually he was nice enough to show me how to do it.   One of the cables
is able to support two drives, so we moved that one over to the side where
the hard drive is, and put the one with only one on the side with the CD. 
Afterwards I have to trade them out again.   Dell makes it
pretty idiot-proof inside, I actually feel ok about this at this point.
Hope I don't hafta eat those words when I actually try it...
