BV> Oh! Did I mention that I also have a full-blown text editor ? BL> Bloody hell. That's convenient. I thought so too :) BL> The only bit missing is the MKS$ converter for the ndx files. BV> You could always tell Frank it is a new Keno algorithm :) BL> ROFL! It might just work... but he's pretty smart. I reckon you could sucker him in. BL> Every time I see Frank's work, I'm tempted to rush out and buy BL> Pascali but the $400 keeps stopping me. Actually, VB is pretty slick. Hmmm...I got the "junk fax" for Delphi this weekend. Delphi is the Turbo Pascal equivalent of VB and it is supposed to be a ball-tearer. It claims to have all the nice parts of VB and it compiles to native code which screams. It could be worth a look, especially as some of the fastest and smoothest Windoze programs I have seen have turned out to be Turbo-Pascal creations. Delphi will initially have an RRP of $350 for the CD version. Upgrades from TP will RRP at $280 There aint much margin in anything nowadays but the dealer price will shave a few bucks off, if anyone is interested. Hey Frank, how many TP disks do you have ? The RRP will increase in 90 days to be $795 BL> I haven't looked at using DLLs yet, but I suspect that this will let BL> it do any bloody thing at all, if I ever get around to it. It isn't hard at all. All you need to do is to prototype the Function in the declaration section of GLOBAL.BAS, then you can call it just like any other function.
