In any case, the WCCW and USWA (or whatever the Memphis title was pre-USWA) was now the Unified title (which included the AWA, but they pulled out after SB3). Lawler was a face in Memphis and a heel in Dallas (though I think he finally turned in Memphis (or was that Dallas?)) with Dallas not mentioning the goings on in Memphis, even if that included title changes. PWI had fits back then trying to keep up and explain everything. > * The winner becomes the RAW announce team, "starting tomorrow". So JR > and Lawler go back and announce the rest of the PPV? Yup, which gives > them a chance to do a tearful goodbye as their lame-duck period starts. And we get to see if Coach can make a trifecta out of doing a terrible job at calling matches AND angering the fans in a bad way. This being at the same time Goldberg starts his title run isn't a good thing, IMHO. > * Sometimes people attack their opponent before the bell rings to start > the match. That the Smackdown belt has better matches over it is coincidental. > * Ref bump-- you *knew* there would be one! Low blow, DDT, but no pin > can be made. 3H out of the ring, grabs a sledgehammer. Did I read that right in that 3H got the "moral victory" (G pinned but no ref to count)?!
