Fine shots all - a number of very stupid comments on them. Perhaps some of
the commenters need new monitors. As per sharpness, these are fine. The
subject is sharp, and that is what counts. You are shooting wild game with a
telephoto - not Yosemite Park with an 8x10 Deardorf!

If you have the full version of Photoshop you can exagerate sharpness in a
rather natural looking way by switching to Lab Colour mode and sharpening
ONLY the Lightness channel. To be really subtle, try sharpening on the
sub-pixel level. A radius of 0.3 and an amount of 350 is a pretty good
starting spot. Since you are not sharpening the colour channels at all, you
avoid the obvious white halo effect.

If the twits still think it is unsharp, suggest they get their monitors
adjusted.

larry!
