All I can tell you is that I put together a message for him after seeing the 
October warning message about the echo.  Since then my computer has been 
trying to call his board using the number in the Fidonet nodelist.
I could hear the ringing tone from the speaker in the modem.  Last week there 
was an intercept saying the number was invalid and a new number wasn't given. 
 At that point I killed my message since there was no way to deliver it.
