Omigosh! I'm talking to a *published* author! What magazine? Where?
Where can I get a copy?! I mean BUY a copy!
Holy toledo! I'd rather have a signed copy hanging on my wall! How's
about it? I can buy it, mail it to ya with a s.a.s.e.? Huh, huh,
huh? Whaddaya say? Huh? (puppy panting and happy tail-wagging)
.. Not unless you tell me that would be in bad taste... (dejected look)
Spring = birth = mother? I must say that mother and child is one
connection that did not come to my mind. Every so often I see
illustrations that don't seem to connect with the material - sometimes
for a short story, or a children's book. In those cases I get the
impression that the material wasn't read.
