By law, once a year ,all titles are forced to carry a sumnation of the
titles monthly sales figures, & when a title slips to low,it gets the
ax.All one need do is scope out the last 2 years sales figure list in
alpha to see the title was no longer selling as it used to.I thought it
REALLY odd,to at long last bring Back guardian/vindicater, only to again
kill him off a mere 10 issues later!! As much as im a fan of Byrnes
work, I didnt last to his last issue of 28. I quit with #19. The run
from #45 to 64 when Lee worked on it was its best days.I sure hated the
art after 67!! The writing got bad also. Frankly,the title died a long
slow death,It was one of my favs for a while.
