CM> I believe in total free enterprise (capitalsim) nationalized only
SB> OK, if you really believe in total free enterprise, you would want me
SB> to get rid of my food co-op. Is this true?
Not at all, you are not the goverment and you co-op because you
want to save money, this is a good way for people to help each
other .
SB> Frankly, I think there are often too many government regulations, and
SB> that, often, those regulations address the wrong issues.
Again nothing wrong with some regulations ie public safty etc...
> hire to work for me . I was turned down once for a really good job,
> because I was the wrong color who defended me ? Not the NAACP because
> I was the wrong color this is why I say they are racist .
SB> I don't know the whole story behind this, so I can't respond to it. I
SB> know that sometimes people are turned down for a job because they are
SB> the wrong color (and that happens to people in *every* race), and I
SB> believe that is wrong. That may very well have happened to you. I
SB> also know that employers often lie to potential white employees and
SB> tell them they had to hire a minority person instead of them, when, in
SB> reality, they hired another white person, and didn't want the rejected
SB> person to "feel bad." I don't know about Tennessee, but that's *very*
SB> common in the Mid Atlantic States.
Back when I was still able to work , this was when I was 30 and
the guy really wanted to hire me . I was a good employee worked
hard as a eng-er made little money but , Im not complaining about
that I choose the job . When I was making $5.ph here, in NYC I
could have made $25.ph diffrent states diffrent rates etc...
CM> no two people can ever be equal not even under the law
> as I have proven . I am not equal to you, I have given my reasons
> so I will not ask you to lower your standerds what ever they may be
> do fit mine . An employer should have the same rights as any employee
> but they do not (double standards) .
SB> I believe you and I probably have different strengths and weaknesses.
SB> There are probably things I do better than you. There are probably
SB> things you do better than me. So we are not equal in every area. In
SB> some things you are superior, and in some things I am superior. But I
SB> *still* believe that you and I are of equal worth.
don't believe in a superior race , just superior individuals
they are in all races. trying hard here to explain .........
SB> An African-American leader, and his name is escaping me right now,
SB> said, "Blacks in America survived slavery; they survived apartheid;
SB> they survived the hate groups. I'm not sure they can survive welfare."
welfare is goverment sponcered slavery in my opinion, nothing wrong
with a hand up I am not opposed to welfare just them that take
advantage of the system and the others get less and do suffer.
CM> Sure I'm a bigot, I believe in God Christ Jesus as the one and only
> savior . Bigot: by God or by Gods will! In this reguard I am a bigot
> and proud to be ! But I'm sure you idea of a bigot is something I am
> not .
SB> Although I think your message about being a Christian is sincere, I
SB> think, overall, that you are being sarcastic here. If you are not
SB> being sarcastic; if you are saying something in all seriousness, let me
SB> know, and I will respond to it accordingly.
you are correct , I say bigot because I know the meaning of the
word it has nothing to do with race or thinking others are good
or bad it deals only with a religious opinion . I as a Christian
do not believe in forcing my religious views or opinions on others.
we are all free in America to have our own religious opinions
as long as the do not harm others etc.... don't you wish everyone
felt this way !
