I had the TRS-80 mod I. See the tagline.
Eventually I went through a number of them. Oh, just remember,
my first was a Cosmac Elf II. An RCA chip with a hex display and
programed in hex. No storage other than ram. 256 bytes IIRC.
I had the ZX-81 in it's Timex TS-1000 version. I marveled at 4
chips being able to do it all. Still have a couple in the
storage shed.
