Hey Carol!

 CS> I started feeding my first point node in 1989.

I think I might have been a user that year. The BBS in question was running on
a DEC server (VAX/VMS) and my access to it was on a dumb terminal residing in a
climate controlled room with 9 track tape drive towers. I forget the name of
the BBS now but later on it was farmed out to a horticulture society. After
that I used a 386 with a 4800 baud modem to connect to it. I am not sure how
many years that lasted. 1992-ish or so and by then I had totally spoiled by
the Sparc machines I had access to and was doing my best to turn a DOS shell
into something resembling csh (aka c-shell).

Them were the days.  :::snicker:::

Life is good,
Maurice

... Don't cry for me I have vi.
