Having a few hundred feet of BV> run-off area could be handy. It had occurred to me... when all that rubber finally lets go, you'll be wound up to 3g or something, and it'll happen really fast. You need to get used to the power steering, too. The Skyline lets go fairly gently into final oversteer, but the steering is proportional, and when you move the wheel a lot, you get added power assistance... all this when the steering is already pretty loose. You have to stay awake and catch it early, or you end up doing those jerky corrections with oversteer that make you look like a dickhead (or a hoon, which is worse). If you don't correct the slide as it happens, it is almost impossible to get it all back smoothly. Taking your hands off the wheel still works, though - letting the self-centreing make the correction and then just grabbing it at the right point. My guess is that the Holden will be even more vicious, but it could be as sweet as a nut. You won't know till you try it.
