Xwindows is in 2 parts, the x server and the window manager, right? Now porting the server to run in the background sounds easy enough, would it be possible to use the PM (or write a program/driver for the PM) to use the PM as the window manager? My goal here is to get xwindows programs running on the PM desktop. (Especially through the slip/lan thingy.) Is this even remotely feasible, and has somebody done it already...
