| KC>What do you do when your pediatrician says that it's not ADHD, and that
| KC>referral isn't warranted?
|
| Find another doctor.
|
| KC>Studies have found that ADHD can be hereditary. I am ADHD. My mother
| KC>raised me, and says that my boy is a carbon copy of me at that age. A
| KC>friend that was in the child counseling field for many years says he
needs
| KC>to be tested for ADHD. Our babysitter said the same when she declined
o
| KC>watch our son any longer.
|
| Then change doctors and find one that understands ADD and ADHD.
Make it even easier -- just ask around and pick a new doctor who believes
all children have ADD or ADHD. They're not hard to find.
