Well, "Gold Eye for the Dull Guy" finally seems to be getting
somewhere. I still think it's a dumb idea.
 
So Molly is now pimping her partner for favors? Yuck! I guess Eric's
concession will be some kind of match stip. Or maybe the creation of a
women's tag title. But why isn't Eric concerned about making Linda
jealous?
 
That cage match between Kane and RVD was, well, lacking in intensity
for a "Revenge of the Monster" angle. Sure Kane knocked RVD around, but
where was the rage and brutality? Any match that didn't at least
approach hell in the cell levels would take away most of Kane's new
image. Like this one.
 
How soon will we be seeing a "title vs show" match? I really like
Jericho, but i wouldn't mind seeing Christian get a chance to rap wih
his peeps.
 
I expected Eric to assign Flair as HHM's partner, but i didn't expect
the way he shafted Goldberg. But i think there should have been a last
second run to help him. Not enough to stop the beatdown, just enough to
chase off the heels and forshadow a feud between that person and Orton.
Maybe Scott Steiner?
 
On a separate note: i had a wrestling dream the other night.
 
There was a cage match between teams of 4 or 5, the number wasn't
clear. There were two cages. One was the standard 20 foot high square
enclosure around the ring. The other was inside. It was round, about 6
feet high, and was supported by a central axle. So it was kind of like
a playground merry go round. Inside each corner of the outer cage was a
12 foot pole.
 
As the wrestlers struggled, climbed, jumped, kicked, etc, they started
the inner cage rotating. Molly Holly, who was on the face team,
shinnied up one of the poles, balanced herself on the top, and took a
running leap (i think she cheated, catoon style, by running several
steps on air) to knock heel team member Christian off the opposite
pole. Then it was my turn.
 
That's right, i was on the face team too. My subconscious must be a
lousy booker, it put me in the ring without giving me any extra
strength or coordination :( Anyway, i was facing the Big Show. Someone
else had already knocked him down and he was hoisting himself up to a
sitting position. As he took his weight off his right hand, i grabbed
it in both of mine and did a stepover wristlock into an arm scissors. I
was trying to immobilize the arm with my full body weight. It took him
about 30 seconds to shake me off. The dream ended with me feeling
completely embarrassed.
 
Still, that puts me ahead of my SO, who dreamt about having to play D&D
with the Dell interns.
