My only concern about using the [quote] toekn is if you use it in BYEBYE.MEC.
Maximus can be set to "hangup" when the user doesn't have keyboard input for
n minutes. What I've found, however, is that after a user logoffs off and
the BYEBYE.MEC is being displayed that this "hangup" is not invoked.
If one of the quotes being displayed is longer than the screen, inother words
the user is left in the middle of the quote with the "More, Y,n" being
displyed, that user will be left on-line regardless of keyboard input.
I once had a user stay on-line for well over an hour in the BYEBYE.MEC screen
because he had obviusly thought he had exitted and simply got up and walked
away from his machine.
I'm not sure if Max would have dumped him when his two hour time session for
the day had come up or if this too was not invoked because I axed him. But I
immediately trimmed the "quote" file so this would not happen again.
Regards.
