Personnaly, I like the area on the North side of Charlotte, NC.  Real purdy :)

Mind you, There is some nice places between Cincinnatti and Nashville.  It
is a fun drive between Cinci and Louisville.  Talk about a raceway - that
I-71 along there is crazy :)

Of course my favourite so far is Bowling Green, KY.  Corvette Museum!  :)
