subject: Anyone got ZUTSR working?

Hello Joel,
JE> Hi all. If anyone has ZUTSR working with their ZYXEL modem / Binkley
JE> (2.60), let me know as I could use some pointers. I played with it
JE> and got parts to work here and there.
Well I had ZuTSR working in earlier times but having switched to OS/2 2 years
ago I had to drop it because the computer was not fast enough to handle it
with 3 other Mailertasks together.
JE> Basically what i want it to do is the following:
JE> Answer Phone, determine if Voice, Data or Fax.
that's automatically done by ZuTSR.
Let your mailer "normally" send an ATA to the Zyxel when a RING is incoming.
By this ATA ZuTSR wakes up and sends a voice message out, for example
Hello?"
If it's a human being, he will answer anything. If nothing comes back, ZuTSR
falls asleep again and lets the Zyx try to establish a connect with a normal
ATA-Command.
If there is a human being, you can use ZuTSRs event programmes to activate
further options like sending further voice-messages, record sth., ring a
bell, send External-Mail-Strings etc.
JE> IF VOICE (or spawn to external program / any suggestions?)
 JE> ========
JE> Ring (on my pc speaker) for about 4 rings
 JE> if I don't pick up,
JE> send to a voicemail type box
 JE> IF DATA simply connect
JE> IF FAX, spawn a FAX receive program (help with this would be nice too)
all of that should be possible
Regards, Christian
