Because it is like 4 times as much gas as a 1 barrel carb and my friends 
parents used to have a 67 camero and it had 2 four barrel carbs and when they 
kicked in in full force, you could see the gas gauge going down slowly but 
you could sse it.  THat is burning gas quick.
