-> Sweet.. sounds like a couple of nice bikes,

Yeah, bought the 550 used for $800 U.S. with under 6,000 miles on it and
had it for over nine years with no trouble at all.
The 550 redlined at 113MPH but over 2k over redline it would hit
135 as the valve springs stopped working and valve float limited
compression.
Never holed a piston or bent a valve either despite the occassional
extreme abuse on the RPM.

The Yamaha I never fully opened up but it was wickedly fast,
that I bought for $1600 used in perfect shape.

-> my self, I had a few different
-> dirt bikes, the one that was wild, was a IT 465 Yamaha, it would do 100+ mph in
-> fifth gear, that's flying on a dirt bike.

I took several of my street bikes offroad on occassion but it was
limited what one could do with them and they were way heavy for the
task.

-> My street bike was a Suzuki 1100ED, with many many aftermarket parts, 35mm
-> muniku carbs, header, fork braces, oil cooler.. etc.. very
fast bike.

Yeah, pretty much any 1100 inline 4 is *fast*, Orlando cops run
1100 Kawasakis and I saw one whiz by my work van in a flash as he
pursued a speeder.

-> Did you sue him/her?

She was 16, in H.S. with no job, both parents were on disability
and so they too were untouchable.
Nothing to sue _for_ :-(

Yeah, I never bought a sailboat.
The only thing I liked better than biking was sailing.

-> Hahahaha... thats funny. More time it's just my pride that hurts.

Yeah at a former 6'6" and in prime shape to what I am now it's a bit
depressing when I often can't walk without falling.

OTOH after too many years to think of I've a break from the majority of
the pain for some unexplained reason this last week.

If it holds another week I'm going to try to walk a bit farther
to get some opf my stamina back.

Well getting close to time to walk my companion dog, a Pit Bull
with the sweetest temperment I've seen in any dog :-)
