If it is truly a better way for me, then that has the impliation that the
computer is accomodating me.

If it is something that someone else think is a better way for me (that
someone being, say, Microsoft), then the computer is not acomodating me.

Look at Palladium, Microsof tis pitching it to me as enablling all manner
of security and protection for me.  In reality, what Palladium is doing is
locking parts of my computer away from my access.
